The active protists community composition, abundance, biomass and size structure were evaluated and compared between two biotopes and three locations. A total of 61 protist species belonging to four eukaryotic supertypes were obtained, the coastline flagellates communities include 22 species, the sublittoral flagellates communities – 45 species.
