Introduction
Sven Sängerlaub studied Packaging Technology at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK). Since 2004 he is working at Fraunhofer IVV in the fields of active and intelligent packaging, biopolymers and barrier. He received his doctorate in 2018 from the Technical University of Munich, Chair of Food Packaging Technology. Since September 2019 he is professor for packaging technology at the University of Applied Sciences Munich.
