Introduction
Suyog Garg is a MSc Physics MEXT Scholar at the University of Physics. His academic interests lie in the field of Astrophysics, with focus towards Gravitational-Wave astronomy. He principally uses Python for his computational works. His first scientific paper came out in a prestigious conference organized by ISRO while he was in his sophomore year at IIITDM Kancheepuram, Chennai. A personal blog maintained by him can be found at: https://suyog20.blogspot.com

The Astropy Project supports and fosters the development of open-source and openly developed Python packages that provide commonly needed functionality to the astronomical community. A key element of the Astropy Project is the core package astropy, which serves as the foundation for more specialized projects and packages. In this article, we summar...
The Astropy Project supports and fosters the development of open-source and openly-developed Python packages that provide commonly needed functionality to the astronomical community. A key element of the Astropy Project is the core package $\texttt{astropy}$, which serves as the foundation for more specialized projects and packages. In this article...
A sensor based on SMF-MZI acts as an optical waveguide which produces an interference pattern in the output due to coupling of core and the cladding field modes in the interference region lying between the two tapers. Such sensing devices have been used for measurement of physical properties like temperature and strain. The output interference patt...
This paper presents EinsteinPy (version 0.3), a community-developed Python package for gravitational and relativistic astrophysics. Python is a free, easy to use a high-level programming language which has seen a huge expansion in the number of its users and developers in recent years. Specifically, a lot of recent studies show that the use of Pyth...
One of the most robust features of the solar magnetic cycle is that the stronger cycles rise faster than the weaker ones. This is popularly known as the Waldmeier Effect, which has been known for more than 100 yr. This fundamental feature of the solar cycle has not only practical implications, e.g., in predicting the solar cycle, but also implicati...
One of the most robust features of the solar magnetic cycle is that the stronger cycles rise faster than the weaker ones. This is popularly known as the Waldmeier Effect, which is known for more than 80 years. This fundamental feature of the solar cycle has not only practical implications, e,g., in predicting the solar cycle, but also implications...
The contribution to the Precession of the Periastron in a Neutron Star - Black Hole binary can be resolved into three components. In this research note we propose that the Tidal component of the periastron's advance is negligible. The full published article is open source and is available at:

One of the most intriguing features of the Solar Magnetic Cycle is that the stronger cycles rise faster than the weaker ones. This is known as the Waldmeier Effect (WE) which has been realized for about 50 years now. This fundamental feature of the Solar Cycle has many implications, for instance in the prediction of the upcoming cycle strength. How...
Is there any similarity between the Astronomical Histories of India and Japan? On the face of it, there appears to be nothing common between the two vastly different and largely isolated nations. Indeed, it has been argued that Japan made little to no original contribution towards Astronomy prior to the advent of Chinese Influence. However, digging...
Space Applications, by their very nature, help in expanding human knowledge. The benefits of future space applications in terrestrial weather forecasting have been highlighted in this paper. The benefits are seen to fall into two broad categories, Satellite Monitoring and Prediction from acquired data, which are discussed separately. A summary on t...
