The aim is to further embed the uptake of principles and practice of Education for Sustainability (EfS) in teaching and learning at Western Sydney University. Inclusion of sustainability concepts in higher education tends towards Education about Sustainability rather then the foundational thinking, valuing and enacting skills of EfS. EfS moves us away from transmissive and reproductive education to transformative and future-focused education.
