Introduction
Suriati Ghazali worked at the School of Humanities (Geography Section), Universiti Sains Malaysia, from 1990-2022. Her research interest was on sense of place, migration, women, queer, and elderly issues in developing countries. She used qualitative methods in data collection, analysis, and writing.
