Introduction
My interests are in the field of molecular mechanisms underlying adipose tissue dysregulation under inflammatory and insulin resistance conditions. I'm exploring these links in adipose cell culture models and analysing adipose human tissue. I am involved in nutrigenomic projects aimed to characterize the effects of nutraceuticals to discover new treatments for metabolic diseases.
