Introduction
As a vector ecologist, my research interest lies in zoonotic diseases. I am part of Indo-UK One Health collaborations focused on understudied/neglected tropical zoonoses affecting communities in India: tick-borne Kyasanur Forest Disease, scrub typhus and Leptospirosis. Our interdisciplinary team strides to identify both ecological and social risk factors and aims to provide co-produced guidance for the public health, animal health and forestry sectors to help communities avoid disease exposure.
