In the power sector, accurate energy demand forecasting is essential for effective resource allocation and decision-making. Conventional techniques frequently prove inadequate in comprehending the complex intricacies of energy consumption patterns, which has led to the investigation of machine learning (ML) methodologies. This article provides an e...
The present work focuses on the effect of flutter in prebend 100 m horizontal axis wind turbine blade (HAWT) within the stability limits. The study was carried out with an advanced beam model for idyllic structure in a DU-97-W-300 cross-sectional area. A Galerkin type of approach has been applied to derive the equations, and the analysis was perfor...
The solar air heater has a low convective heat transfer coefficient because the absorber plate and moving air form a laminar sub-layer. Adding artificial roughness to the absorber surface is one of the most efficient heat transfer and thermal efficiency augmentation techniques utilised in SAH duct construction. The absorber plate is given new doubl...
In recent years the design and development of various classes of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV's) has grown significantly. It is a well-known fact that the utilization of composite structures will reduce the weight of the aircraft structure by 30–50%. It is possible to tailor the strength and stiffness properties of composite structures by adopting...
Even though hydraulic brakes are valuable safety elements for riders, they are necessary for braking in a good condition. Vibration signatures may be used to assess the condition of the brake components. In this research, the monitor and make status tracking and the dynamic data acquisition method with a piezo-electric transducer is suggested as a...
The performance of a gas turbine during the service life can be enhanced by cooling the turbine blades efficiently. The objective of this study is to achieve high thermohydraulic performance (THP) inside a cooling passage of a turbine blade having aspect ratio (AR) 1:5 by using discrete W and V-shaped ribs. Hydraulic diameter (Dh) of the cooling pa...
In this paper, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNT) were dispersed in D-Mannitol to prepare enhanced thermal conductive nanocomposites phase change materials (PCM) with 0.1% and 0.5% weight fraction. The PCM were tested for 100 thermal cycles and characterized by using techniques such as Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thremogravimetric ana...
In this work, the thermo-physical behavior along with the energy storage performance of low melting alloy (LMA) mixed with D-Mannitol (DM)–a solid-liquid PCM, were experimentally investigated. LMA is an alloy consisting of Tin (59%), Bismuth (32%), Zinc (4%) and Indium (5%). Composites with different mass loadings of LMA (0.1% and 0.5%) were prepar...
Sugar alcohols (SA) are emerging as one of better energy storage materials for thermal energy storage (TES) application due to its phase change temperature ranges (−15 to 245 °C) and considerable phase change enthalpies of 100–430 kJ/kg. However, the main challenges include the low thermal response of the phase change materials (PCM) owing to its v...
Thermal energy storage (TES) is a key system to reduce the gap between energy supply and energy demands. Energy storage materials play a very important role in the design of TES. Energy storage materials store energy in form of sensible heat, latent heat and thermochemical energy storage. Compared to the various forms of energy storage, latent heat...
This paper presents the experimental study on the thermophysical behavior, thermal cyclic characteristics and energy storage performance of liquid metal (LM) laden in organic solid-liquid phase change material (PCM) for energy storage. In this view, Gallium (Ga) is added into D-Mannitol (DM) with a weight fraction of 0.1% and 0.5% by dispersion tec...
Present study investigates the physical and chemical behavior of myo-inositol and myo-inositol/alumina-CuO for solar thermal energy storage in the temperature range of 50°C to 260°C. Myo-inositol (MI) was mixed with mixture of alumina (Al2O3)-copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles (NPs) with mass fraction of 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 wt. % using low energy ball m...
In this paper experimental investigations on convective heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics in a novel electronic heat sink fitted with dynamic mixers using water and Al2O3/water nanofluid are presented. For this, Al2O3 nanoparticles of average size 47nm are synthesized using microwave assisted chemical precipitation method and characte...

For example, 40C/min cooling curve has broader peak and 5C/min cooling curve has narrow peaks in latent heat of solidification
I need to heat therminol oil as heat transfer fluid at 250 degree celsius. Currently i am using high temperature and high power(3KW) coil heater to heat and found that the heater is corroding faster and failing after few heating cycles. What the best method to heat the fluid at high temperature? Please suggest.
