Lymphoma patients are at increased risk of thromboembolic events but thromboprophylaxis in these patients is largely underused. We sought to develop and validate a simple model, based on individual clinical and laboratory patient characteristics that would designate lymphoma patients at risk for thromboembolic event. The study population included 1...

Venous thromboembolic events (VTE) are an underestimated health problem in patients with lymphoma. Many factors contribute to the pathogenesis of thromboembolism and the interplay between various mechanisms that provoke VTE is still poorly understood. The identification of parameters that are associated with an increased risk of VTE in lymphoma pat...

Aims: In the past two decades, there have been major improvements in the care of children with chronic kidney disease (CKD) that may have affected its morbidity and mortality rates. The epidemiology of the early stages of pediatric CKD with long term follow-up in countries with limited resources is often under-reported. The aim is to report epidemi...

Introduction: Henoch Schӧnlein purpura (HSP), recently called IgA vasculitis is a systemic vasculitis characterized by deposits of immunoglobulin A in blood vessels. Renal impairment of these patients, IgA vasculitis nephritis (IgAVN), is the main determinant of prognosis. IgAVN is a relatively benign disease in children, whereas, long-term cohort...

Introduction Heart diseases are the main cause of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) which is the leading cause of global mortality. Early positive on-scene and hospital admission outcomes are, therefore, significant factors with an influence on overall survival, in-hospital treatment success, as well as complete recovery and life quality prese...

Question
What is the extent of bias risk between standard and autobiographical case reports in medicine and is there any medical journal (indexed or not indexed in MEDLINE) publishing or having a history of publishing autobiographical case reports?
Question
What is the best way (and software) to graphically present multivariate regression analysis results?
Both of my predictor and outcome variables are dichotomous and are coded with 0 and 1.
I performed binary logistic regression for each predictor variable and analyzed predictors showing significance in the second step by putting them in a multivariate regression model.
Thank you
