Introduction
Dr. Sofien Tiba is a Professor of Economics at the University of Sfax. He holds an HDR and a Ph.D in Economics. His research’s major theme spans across resources curse thesis, oil abundance, sustainable development, environmental and energy economics, resources economics, and climate changes. Last but not least, Dr. Tiba is ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in 2024 by Stanford University and Elsevier and named in the top 0.5% of all scholars worldwide by ScholarGPS.
