Introduction
Size and shape controlled nanoparticles synthesis in Water-in-oil microemulsion media: Examine the effect of water to surfactant mole ratio (W0), variation of head groups and chain length of surfactants and cosurfactants on the synthesised nanostructures. In addition with, investigate the potential of synthesised nanomaterials to the Pickering emulsion formation. Moreover the introduction of Pickering emulsion in different applied field.

This study involves the effect of hydrophobicity of cosurfactants on the formation of cerium tetrafluoride nanoparticles inside the core of water-in-oil microemulsion. To produce the microemulsions, two distinct chain length cosurfactants, 1-butanol (4 carbon atoms) and 1-hexanol (6 carbon atoms) are employed. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) study r...
SmF3 nanoparticles with a hexagonal closed pack structure were synthesised by W/O microemulsions of water/
Tween 20/1-butanol/toluene. The crystal structure, composition and purity of the sample, as well as the
morphology of the produced nanoparticles were studied using Powder X-ray Diffraction, Energy Dispersive X-
ray, elemental mapping, Transm...
The present research work is concerned with the systematic account of the catalytic behaviour of binary surfactant solutions during the oxidation of 2-butanol by the diperiodatocuprate(III) copper(III)–periodate complex (DPC) in an aqueous solvent. The work primarily deals with the kinetics of the mixed micelle diperiodatocuprate(III) copper(III)–p...
Natural surfactants or biosurfactants are amphiphilic biological compounds, produced by microbes (bacteria, fungi, and yeast) from various agro-industrial wastes. Biosurfactants have various advantages compared to synthetic surfactants, including decreased toxicity, high biodegradability, high selectivity, higher foaming action, and specific activi...
In this study, for the first time an effort is made to examine the effect of surfactant hydrophobicity on the synthesis of lanthanideseries nanoparticles inside the core of reverse micelles.Tween...
A novel functional supramolecular gel (SA‐MEA) has been produced through the mixing of succinic acid and monoethanolamine directly in DMF medium under ambient conditions. The semi‐solid and viscoelastic nature of mechanically stable SA‐MEA gel has been established through the rheological analysis. The major chemical components of the gel are confir...
A fascinating approach for the instantaneous synthesis of citric acid as a low molecular weight gelator and zinc ion based metallogel through one-shot mixing in N,N-dimethyl formamide medium has been achieved at room temperature under ambient condition. The rheological study was applied to investigate the mechanical property of the synthesized meta...
Use of environmentally benign nanoreactors in water is crucial for sustainable organic synthesis. Herein, we report that the nanomicelles as formulated by two surfactants (cationic cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) and nonionic polyoxyethylene (23) lauryl ether (Brij-35)) in water produces efficient catalysis of diperiodatoargentate(III) directed oxid...
Over the years, the food technology has emerged in tandem with changes in dietary trends. New technologies have arisen that not only improve the flavor and shelf life of food goods, but also contain effective additives that are same for customers’ health and provide nutraceutical benefits. As a result, the adoption of natural alternatives to replac...
The realization of employment of two surfactants in organic transformation comes from the intensity on achievement of better results with lower concentrations of individual surfactants than with single surfactants. In this work, the oxidations of 1-propanol and 1,3-propanediol by copper(III)-periodate (DPC) complex in aqueous micellar media were in...
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has led to serious health and economic damage to all over the world, and it still remains unstoppable. The SARS-CoV-2, by using its S-glycoprotein, binds with an angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 receptor , mostly present in alveolar epithelial type II cells. Eventually pulmonary surfactant depletion occurs. Th...
