Introduction
I am interested in pathogenesis of diseases, especially cancer, ultimately to prolong the average lifetime of all the humans. Now I believe that cancer and atherosclerosis are the side effects of using iron and oxygen for a long time. We work on the role of iron in carcinogenesis, including mesothelial carcinogenesis induced by asbestos and nanomaterials. We also use non-thermal plasma to kill cancer cells. Carcinogenesis may be a process to obtain "iron addiction with ferroptosis-resistance."
