This study will seek to investigate the attitudes toward aging and the perceptions of elderly care among nursing students in 12 countries (Chile, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Iraq, Greece, Oman, Palestine Territory, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and the United States of America). Specifically, it will: 1. Assess the nursing students’ attitudes toward aging; 2. Assess the perception of nursing students regarding elderly care; 3. Assess the students’ willingness to work with older people; 4. Compare the students’ attitudes toward aging and perception of elderly care between country of residence; 5. Examine the association between sociodemographic characteristics and the students’ attitudes toward aging and perception of elderly care; 6. Identify the factors influencing the students’ attitudes toward aging and perception of elderly care.
Project
1) To assess the existing quality of life score regarding myocardial infarction among patients post myocardial infarction. 2) To measure the existing myocardial infarction incidence rate in hospitals or heart center under study. 3) To evaluate the effectiveness of a group educating program on the quality of life in patients post myocardial infarction. 4) To evaluate how the application of group educating program for patients post myocardial infarction improve the quality of life.
