Introduction
Shayne Baker OAM currently research interests are in two distinct areas. I. Work-based learning (WBL) and its application in vocational education & higher education pedagogy. II. Drowning prevention, water safety, lifesaving and emergency response. He is a member of the RLSSA. RLSS Commonwealth, Lifesaving Foundation Ireland, Surf Life Saving Australia, International Drowning Prevention Research Alliance and a member of the International Lifesaving Federation Rescue Commission.
