Introduction
Currently, I am a Senior Research Fellow under the CSIR scheme, in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing, IIT Roorkee. My research work is related to solving multi-objective combinatorial optimization problems using nature-inspired algorithms. So far, I have developed variants of NSGA-II for combinatorial problems, such as location-allocation and multiple traveling salesman problems, tested against the state-of-the-art algorithms on the respected benchmark problems.

Selecting team players is a crucial and challenging task demanding a considerable amount of thinking and hard work by the selectors. The present study formulated the selection of an IPL squad as a multi-objective optimization problem with the objectives of maximizing the batting and bowling performance of the squad, in which a player’s performance...

This paper provides an extensive review of the popular multi-objective optimization algorithm NSGA-II for selected combinatorial optimization problems viz. assignment problem, allocation problem, travelling salesman problem, vehicle routing problem, scheduling problem, and knapsack problem. It is identified that based on the manner in which NSGA-II...

Web Service Location-Allocation Problem (WSLAP) is an important and challenging NP-hard combinatorial optimization problem where multiple objectives affecting the quality of service (QoS) are to be optimized simultaneously. Most of the existing research articles mainly focus on selecting web service locations that minimize two QoS: total cost and t...

The Indian Paper Industry (IPI) uses diverse fibers raw materials for pulp and papermaking process. The consumption of these fibers raw material depends upon the availability of the raw material, grade of the paper to be produced and the environmental factors. However, the quality of the paper produced entirely depends upon the quality of the pulp...

PlatEMO (is available in MATLAB), MOEA Framework (is available in Java), ParadisEO (is available in C++), pymoo (is available in Python).
Many more resources are also available.
Question
Web services are different from web applications. We can find examples of web applications but can any one provide some examples of popular web services which are available on the internet and are frequently invoked by the consumer.
Question
For example, suppose there are 50 data points which need to be clustered into seven parts, in a way so that each cluster contains at least five and at most 10 data points.
Question
Many -objective optimization problem is multi-objective optimization problem having three or more objectives.
