Question
Recently I have read the which examined the monetory cost of time spent on peer review by researchers. At this time of the open science movement gradually getting its momentum, a need has arisen to re-examine/re-visit the existing peer review and publishing model.
Question
Now I am writing the methodology chapter. I could not find any doctoral dissertation that explained the monetary costs incurred during fieldwork. I feel that the methodology chapter should have this section. In my dissertation, I will give a brief overview of the costs incurred for me at the fieldwork in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. This will help the fellow researchers in budgeting fieldwork. If anyone come across a dissertation explaining costs, please do share it.
Question
In this case, forest rangers (Respondent 1-Quantitative Data) and local community (Respondent 2-Qualitative Data) in a protected area.
Question
Like to know the quantifiable criminological aspects in an oil spill in a marine environment.
Question
My research is concentrated on environmental crimes (i.e. conservation criminology). Generally, environmental crimes will not be reported by people because of the absence of possible victims. People may or may not know what constitutes an environmental crime. Hence it is detected only through the efforts taken from the environmental crime enforcement agencies. As per the Government crime statistics (Crime in India) environmental crimes are very low in registration. So I like to take up a study, to find out the reason behind less reporting of environmental crimes through social perception research.
So kindly give your opinion on the importance social perception study in criminological research and the application of social perception in researching the environmental crimes.
