The MOOCs produced by higher education institutions in recent years have resulted in a broad range of freely accessible teaching/learning videos. The project pursues the goal of integrating this video library sustainably as Open Education Resources (OER) within the framework of organised teaching/learning programmes in distance university courses. It targets not only widespread use of the videos, but also adaptation of the videos to the student learning situation in a learner-centred course approach. Concepts for integrating and adapting MOOC videos in distance higher education will be developed and tested in the project. One approach will focus on interactions in the chat sessions during synchronised viewing of the videos (platform: watch2gether.com). In a further concept the videos will be enhanced with course-specific annotations and quizzes using the open-source tool H5P.
