Project
In a collaborative approach, six universities from Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia have set out to advance research data management (rdm) in the health- and care-related sciences. They will establish a community platform as a central information and communication hub for researchers in these subjects. The platform will also be used to identify rdm-needs and present them in the form of user stories. Additionally, concepts for training and consulting services will be developed and tested. The target groups include researchers as well as students and PhD candidates. Based on best practice examples, standards as well as guidelines and recommendations will also be developed. This will be done in cooperation with the relevant professional societies and data centers, the NFDl4Health consortium, and state initiatives on rdm. Finally, the project will create awareness for rdm amongst researchers in the health- and care-related sciences and offer active support in managing and sharing data.
