Introduction
I have completed my doctoral research in organic synthesis from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. I have experience in diverse fields of Chemistry, particularly in organic synthesis. My research experience is primarily associated with the Synthesis of Natural Products. I seek to further translate my current expertise in the method development for synthesizing the complex framework found in natural products and their application in medicinal chemistry.

The first total syntheses of (±)-callyspongidic acids and 2-epi-(±)-callyspongidic acids were achieved in high overall yield from epoxy ester derived from commercially available l-(+)-tartaric acid. The key features of these syntheses are the stereoselective opening of epoxide with organocuprates and the chemoselective addition of Grignard reagent...
Article
Stereoselective total synthesis of anti-fungal cyclopentenone (−)-hygrophorone A¹² and cyclopentanone 4-epi-2,3-dihydrohygrophorone H¹² were achieved in high overall yields from d-ribose. An aqueous KOH mediated diastereoselective formation of β-hydroxy ketone with three contiguous chiral centres served as a key step in this synthesis.
Article
A concise and divergent chiron approach for the first total synthesis of (+)-Pseudonocardide A, (+)-Pseudonocardide C and an epimer of ent -Pseudonocardide D is reported starting from D-ribose. The salient features...
Article
The present study aims to understand the molecular mechanism involved in beneficial rhizobacteria mediated alleviation of drought stress in the host plant. Bacillus marisflavi CRDT-EB-1 isolated from the rhizosphere soil was found effective in inducing resistance against drought stress in mustard seedlings. Among the different bacterial derivatives...
Article
Total syntheses of anti-fungal cyclopentenones (−)-hygrophorone A¹², 4-O-acetyl-hygrophorone A¹² and (+)-hygrophorone B¹² were achieved in high overall yield from D-(−)-tartaric acid. The key feature of this syntheses is aqueous KOH mediated diastereoselective intramolecular aldol reaction to form β-hydroxy ketone with three contiguous chiral centr...

Stereoselective total syntheses of anti-fungal cyclohexenones (−)-pseudohygrophorone A¹² and (−)-pseudohygrophorone B¹² were achieved. Salient features of these syntheses are the diastereoselective addition of dodecylmagnesium bromide to highly oxygenated ketone derived from (−)-quinic acid and α-oxidation of the enone.
