Introduction
Saeed Shirzadian (Research Associate Prof.) currently works at the Department of Botany, Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection (Tehran, IRAN). Saeed mainly does research on taxonomy of mosses. His recent (2017-2019) projects were: 1. Study and design a software model for diversity and distribution of bryophytes in Iran, and 2. Identification and taxonomic revision of unknown moss specimens at “IRAN” herbarium. Lately (2019), he started another project entitled: Floristic and taxonomic study of mosses in the central parts of Iran.
