I got B.Sc. in Surveying Engineering (1990) from K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU), Tehran, Iran. M.Sc. in GIS (1995) from ITC, Enschede, The Netherlands. Ph.D. in GIS (2000) from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. Since then, I have been working at KNTU as an associate professor of GIS, involved with education, research, and consulting activities. I have supervised around 120 MSc and 18 Ph. research works.
