The catalog contains 1083 RHAT codes of mineral compositions of igneous rocks with their descriptions from 30 data sources. Two variants of data ordering were used: 1) the alphabetical one, which is the order of rank formulas in T.G. Petrov and N.I. Krasnova "R-catalog of chemical compositions of minerals, 2010" and 2) the order of sources in the p...

Chemical compositions of scapolites in the great amount of collected analyses were scanned with application of several modern techniques. The results allow discussing as some particular, so the general peculiarities of their com¬position. For example, an especial role of sulfur and potassium appears to be revealed. The hierarchic classification of...

A thermodynamic model of a quasiequilibrium between the solution and an elastically stressed layer formed during growth of a two-component mixed crystal under nonstationary conditions has been constructed. The derived equations are solved numerically for the system potassium biphtalate-rubidium biphtalate-water. It is shown that the inconsistency b...

A simple method for sample preparation based on copper oxide Cu2O acting as an oxygen getter is presented, which results in very well-ordered ortho-II phases in both polycrystalline and single-crystal samples of the high Tc superconducting compound YBa2Cu3O6+x (0.48≤x≤0.62). It comes out from our measurements of the superstructure correlation lengt...

Spontaneous crystallization from a solution in a melt at a pressure of (0.8–1)×10−3 Pa was used to obtain single crystals of a new nonperovskite-like superconducting phase Ba2Cu3O6−x space group P ccm, a=13.065, b=20.654, and c=11.431 Å). The superconducting properties of the crystals were investigated by modulated microwave absorption. The superco...

The crystals with a continuous change in lattice constants (delta-crystals) can be used in X-ray optics since they are able to change the divergence of X-ray beam. The samples of linear (one-dimensional) delta-crystals of potassium-rubidium biphthalate with the gradient of lattice constant b up to 1%/cm have been grown from low-temperature aqueous...

A synchrotron-radiation study has been carried out on a crystal of YBa2Cu3O6 + x with a low oxygen content (x = 0.15–0.20) to investigate the so-called 2√2 a0 × √2 b0 × c0 phase, attributed up to now to oxygen ordering in the YBCO CuOx layers. This crystal was grown from a flux and quenched from 900°C. It is shown that neither the ordering of CuO...

The effect of synthesis and postgrowth treatment (by annealing at various temperatures and partial oxygen pressures) conditions on structural homogeneity of YBa2Cu3Ox single crystals has been studied. The obtaining of single crystals with both high oxygen content and high critical temperatures Tc has been optimized. The wide range of postgrowth tre...

Literature data and our studies are used to consider three types of structural inhomogeneity in perovskite-like superconductors. Their irregular mixed-layered structures differ in the nature and distribution of impurity layers. A three-dimensional diagram is suggested for each type of defect. A great variety of postgrowth conditions are discussed t...

Modifications of elemental composition of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x singlecrystalline surface under medium energy (3keV) electron irradiation have been investigated by AES. The doses reached 103C/cm2. The structural and chemical inhomogeneities of bismuth-based HTSC resulting in the formation of irregular mixed-layer structures of two types are revealed. To study the defects of this type, the profiles of the 00l reflections from the Bi-2212 single crystals were analyzed with the use of a matrix formalism developed for defective layer structures....

The influence of oxygen partial pressure (po2 = 10−4–1.5 · 102 atm) during annealing on the Tc and lattice parameter c of Bi-2212 single crystals has been investigated. Antibate correlation between non-monotonous alteration of the c parameter and Tc with the increase in oxygen content has been revealed.[Russian Text Ignored].

By means of X-Ray diffraction on single crystals of YBa2Cu3O6+x with a well defined oxygen content it is shown that the ortho-II phase 2a0xb0 exists in the range of 0.40(3) ≤ x ≤ 0.63. The crystals with x = 0.70(3) and x = 0.73(3) possess the 3a0xb0 superstructure. Both are caused by a short-range ordering of the Cu(1)-oxygen and Cu(1)-vacancy chai...

Optical constants spectra for Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox single crystals with different stoichiometry have been studied in 1 - 4.5 eV region. Direct relation between Tc and 3.8 and 4.3 eV bands intensities have been established. The bands are supposed to be due to BiO (triply split) - Bi6p transitions in M point of BZ.

Expression have been derived for the kinetics of dislocation growth of two-component crystals. They relate the growth rate V to the supersaturation and the concentration ratio of the components in the solution (γ). It has been shown that at constant supersaturation, the function V(γ) has a maximum whose position depends on the supersaturation and t...
