Introduction
Dr. Arafat has been conducting research on the epidemiological aspects of mental disorders in Bangladesh with a special focus on suicide, psychometrics, and panic buying. He has an MD in Psychiatry from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bangladesh. He did a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dhaka Medical College. He also holds an MPH and an MBA.
