Introduction
My name is Rupak Kumar Das, and I am a Ph.D. student at Pennsylvania State University. My research interests lie in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and social media analysis. I have always been fascinated by the power of language and its ability to connect people from different backgrounds and cultures. As a graduate student, I have had the opportunity to delve deeper into these fields, and I am excited about the potential for my work to impact society positively.

With their advanced capabilities, Large Language Models (LLMs) can generate highly convincing and contextually relevant fake news, which can contribute to disseminating misinformation. Though there is much research on fake news detection for human-written text, the field of detecting LLM-generated fake news is still under-explored. This research me...

Background There is ample evidence that music can boost brain activity and jog deeply embedded memories. Literature indicates a significant improvement in autobiographical memory (ABM) recall for different individuals during background music sessions. Existing research is based solely on qualitative data, although music has a significant impact on...

Assessing an AI system's behavior-particularly in Explainable AI Systems-is sometimes done empirically, by measuring people's abilities to predict the agent's next move-but how to perform such measurements? In empirical studies with humans, an obvious approach is to frame the task as binary (i.e., prediction is either right or wrong), but this does...

Teaching students about explainable AI is emerging as a critical topic for industry readiness, but doing so is difficult. This is because it contains a vast array of concepts, each of which may be new to students. In this chapter, we will go through the strategies we have honed to make this course accessible to fledgling data scientists. Along the...

This paper uses the BERT model, which is a transformer-based architecture, to solve task 4A, English Language, Sentiment Analysis in Twitter of SemEval2017. BERT is a very powerful large language model for classification tasks when the amount of training data is small. For this experiment , we have used the BERT BASE model, which has 12 hidden laye...

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a mechanism to understand the brain’s functioning by analyzing brain electrical signals. More recently, it has been more commonly used in studies that are focused on the causation and effect of dementia. More tools are now available to gather EEG data. This brings about the challenge of understanding brain signals, w...

There is no disputing the role that background music plays in memory recall. Music has the power to activate the brain and trigger deeply ingrained memories. For dementia patients, background music is a common therapy because of this. Previous studies used music to recall lyrics, series of words, and long- and short-term memories. In this research,...

The importance of background music in memory retrieval is irrefutable. Music can boost brain activity and jog deeply embedded memories. This is why background music is used as a popular therapy for dementia patients. Previous studies used music to recall lyrics, serial of words, and long and short-term memories. In this research, EEG and EDA data w...

Age classification is a useful tool for creating an automatic system that can identify or verify and classify a person into an age group. In this paper a unique approach for classifying different aged people based on their forearm electromyography (EMG) signal, which has different characteristics from teenager to old is proposed. The Electromyograp...
