I have two data sets which inform of lines. Empirical data of human movement and software generated human movement. I want compare both to find out the similarity level. please suggest me software capable such type of line analysis.

Currently i'm working on ABM in Public spaces for my PhD thesis in Urban planning. For the moment i'm using grasshopper plugin which is freely available. So far it is user friendly software. But i have doubt that how to deal with authentication of the product. is it ok that i go ahead with this. since non of the research carried out using this soft ware.
I'm in begging of my research and please guide me how to select software for testing human behaviour in urban public space.
Further please give suggestions of model adaptation and validation in the per-view of Urban planner.
