Introduction
My research is based on Analytical Chemistry applied to diverse areas such as vegetal biotechnology, renewable resources and pharmaceuticals. The core of the applications in these areas is Chemometrics, vibrational spectroscopy and other molecular spectroscopies, as well as modern microscopy techniques and hyperspectral imaging. I investigate the ultrastructure of wood and lignocellulosic materials, the generation of biofuels, the analysis of plant under stress phenomena, among others.
