Introduction
Rosanna Planer currently works at the Institute of Communication and Media Studies at Leipzig University. Her research focuses on new genres and trends in digital journalism, such as multimedia storytelling, podcasts, VR, and the like.
In her dissertation "Two Decades of Multimedia Storytelling in Digital Journalism", she conducted three empirical studies to gain insights into lessons of the past, challenges of the present, and potentials for the future of multimedia storytelling.
