Introduction
I am a Plant Ecologist working with Azorean and Macaronesian bryophytes. Most of my work deals with ecological and physiological aspects of these fascinanting plants. I am also working in Environmental and Science Education and outreach, trying to understand different perspectives about nature and natural environments and their role in people's lifes.
