Проведено комплексний аналіз недоліків існуючих методик розрахунків несучих частин металорізальних верстатів з урахуванням різного роду навантажень. Запропоновано шляхи покращення кінцевоелементих методів їх розрахунків з метою більш детального врахування впливу деформацій окремих конструктивних елементів та деталей на точність всього верстату.

Проведено комплексний розгляд математичних моделей верстатних елементів на різних рівняхпроектування, включаючи питання отримання математичних моделей і їх реалізації на ЕОМ з метоювдосконалення технічних характеристик металорізальних верстатів та розширення технологічнихможливостей оброблення деталей.
