Introduction
My research aim at decipher the effect of anthropogenic stresses at the molecular level in aquatic organisms. Omic tools constitute the main approaches of my researches including proteomic, transcriptomic and bioinformatic data analysis relative to such methods.

The Blue Mussel (Mytilus edulis, L. 1758) is an ecologically important and commercially relevant bivalve. Because of its ability to bioconcentrate xenobiotics, it is also a widespread sentinel species for environmental pollution, which has been used in ecotoxicological studies for biomarker assessment. Consequently, numerous proteomics studies have...
Article
Intertidal sessile organisms constitute through their life history unintended stress recorders. This study focuses on the impact of pollution on Mytilus edulis ability to cope with an additional stress. For this purpose, two acclimation stages to different temperatures were conducted before an acute stress exposure in mussels collected from a heavi...

Serotonin (5-HT) takes a key position in regulating vital functions, such as cardio-ventilatory activity, locomotion and behaviour. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) modulate the serotonergic system and thus affect these functions. Rhythmic behaviours, such as cardio-ventilatory activity, are controlled by central pattern generators,...

Dreissenids are established model species for ecological and ecotoxicological studies, since they are sessile and filter feeder organisms and reflect in situ freshwater quality. Despite this strong interest for hydrosystem biomonitoring, omics data are still scarce. In the present study, we achieved full de novo assembly transcriptomes of digestive...

Zebra mussel (ZM), Dreissena polymorpha, commonly used as a sentinel species in freshwater biomonitoring, is now in competition for habitat with quagga mussel (QM), Dreissena rostriformis bugensis. This raises the question of the quagga mussel’s use in environmental survey. To better characterise QM response to stress compared with ZM, both species...

The Kerguelen Islands (49°26’S, 69°50’E) represent a unique environment due to their geographical isolation, which protects them from anthropogenic pollution. The ability of the endemic mussel, part of the Mytilus complex, to cope with moderate heat stress was explored using omic tools. Transcripts involved in six major metabolic functions were sel...
Article
Zebra mussels (Dreissena polymorpha) are commonly used as sentinel organisms in freshwater biomonitoring. The displacement of this species by quagga mussels (Dreissena rostriformis bugensis) has raised the issue of their discrimination after field sampling. Even if those two species exhibit specific morphological characteristics, confusion can occu...
Poster
Zebra mussels, Dreissena polymorpha, are bivalve molluscs used in ecotoxicology as sentinel species with, among other things, of their bioaccumulation capacity. The quagga mussel, Dreissena rostriformis bugensis, has more recently colonized western Europe. Also invasive, it competes with the zebra mussel for habitats and, in some areas, has complet...

Intertidal organisms live in a fluctuating environment. The blue mussel Mytilus edulis is a key species of those ecosystems and are largely use as sentinel species. Global warming associated with anthropization will expose mussels to contaminations together with increased temperatures. In addition, more frequent heatwaves are expected. In this work...

The impact of these changes oncoastal environments is in peculiar impor-tance from an ecological and economical pointof view. They shelter very high primary produc-tive ecosystems, although abiotic conditions, such as tide intensity, temperature, oxygena-tion and salinity variations and biotic condi-tions, such as food availability are multipleconst...

Organisms inhabiting intertidal zone are submitted to regular emersion-submersion cycles that induce drastic environmental changes such as oxygen availability or external temperature. In Normandy coast, chemical contamination -mainly related to the Seine river basin- constitutes an additional stress. According to the IPCC conclusions, climate chang...

Question
Hi everyone,
I am currently working with mzdata.xml files for protein identification through Mascot.
I now need to perform de novo sequencing but softwares (e.g. pepnovo) don't accept this format and I failed to convert to mzXML with msconvert.
For information, I do not have access to raw data, the mass spectrometry analysis was done in another lab.
How could I manage those files ?
Thank your for answer me.
