Creativity, motivation and interaction in community are wide-ranging concepts that can be defined in several ways. What is the new interactive part of figurative work? Is this a genre? A vehicle? An art programme? Should an art-oeuvre be physically functioning to be categorised as such, or do we collaborate when we sense and make sense? In this the...

... or whether art and design is of central importance in the nationwide curricula (especially with regard to general competences)?
Arts and culture and creativity - both material and immaterial heritage, skills and competences - are resources that should be protected and promoted. They not only contribute to the realisation of the SDGs, but also make them possible to a special degree. Only culturally sensitive, creative, unconventional approaches to solutions ensure the success of measures to achieve the SDGS.
Why does art not appear explicitly in the SDGS? But purely as a cross-cutting issue?
Enabling students to establish their own values and try out new ideas should be central moments of teaching. It is through "do-it-yourself" and "self-appropriation" that an understanding of personal empowerment develops in the first place and enables work with and in groups to be productive and successful.
Main areas of focus are:
- Diversity as an opportunity: using practical experiences and different perspectives of participants and trainers.
- Transcultural teamwork that positively promotes identity
- Developing coping strategies against racism and discrimination and promoting self-organization and participation.
