The reversible adenine phosphoribosyltransferase enzyme (APRT) is essential for purine homeostasis in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. In humans, APRT (hAPRT) is the only enzyme known to produce AMP in cells from dietary adenine. APRT can also process adenine analogs, which are involved in plant development or neuronal homeostasis. However, the molecula...

Phosphoribosyltransferases catalyze the displacement of a PRPP α-1′-pyrophosphate to a nitrogen-containing nucleobase. How they control the balance of substrates/products binding and activities is poorly understood. Here, we investigated the human adenine phosphoribosyltransferase (hAPRT) that produces AMP in the purine salvage pathway. We show tha...

Identification of the nymphs in the genus Carpocoris from France (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae). RIBES and PAGOLA-CARTE (2013) did not argue their recent synonymy of Carpocoris mediterraneus, species previously revalidated by LUPOLI et al. (2013). This species is then valid and therefore five species of the genus Carpocoris are found in France. An ident...

In 2015, “Our Planet Reviewed”, the biodiversity survey in the core area of the French Guiana Amazonian Park, has enabled more than 50 scientists to inventory the fauna of this remote area, with a particular effort on diverse and little-known taxonomic groups. The forested area under investigation presents a mosaic of hills and inselbergs, with a wide variety of ecosystems. The main objectives were to discover new species for science, report first records for French Guiana, and establish a baseline inventory for biogeographic studies. This projet aims at sharing all the results. Species data are available through INPN and GBIF: https://inpn.mnhn.fr/espece/cadre/143 https://www.gbif.org/dataset/e42bf2ce-364f-444c-ba0e-c5947cc5f4b3 Expedition detail on the MNHN portal : https://expeditions.mnhn.fr/campaign/mitaraka?lang=en_US A thematic issue of Zoosystema deals with some of the results : http://sciencepress.mnhn.fr/en/articles/zoosystema?fascicule=18792 Specimens in MNHN collection: https://science.mnhn.fr/institution/mnhn/item/search/form?lang=fr_FR
