Introduction
A long time law enforcement officer with a passion to investigate the impact of 3D scanners on crime scenes. The 3D scanners have also lead me to the training of law enforcement using virtual reality. I am passionate about both and excited for the new opportunities.

As the world is amid the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) many may have never experienced a pandemic to this extreme. As COVID-19 continues to evolve, some believe it can replicate the 1968 Hong Kong flu pandemic. This study will review other pandemics experienced by the United States of America and behaviors associated with such events. The purpose of the study is to examine the potential effect COVID-19 has on offenses related to driving while intoxicated (DWI). It is theorized the percentage of traffic stops that concluded with an arrest for a DWI related offense during the COVID-19 pandemic increased from the portion of traffic stops ending in an arrest for a DWI related offense before the epidemic. The timeline examined for the study was during the stay-at-home order by the Tarrant County judge in Tarrant County, Texas, where restaurants were also under an order by the State of Texas governor only to provide take-out orders which could include alcoholic beverages (March 24, 2020 – April 30, 2020). This study results will give more insight into drinking and driving while experiencing a larger scale stressful event. The researches used the Freedom of Information Act (open records request) to obtain data for this review through municipalities located within Tarrant County, Texas.
