Descrição: Essa proposta, contemplada pelo edital PROEXT2014-MEC/SESu, é composta de dois projetos interligados, já em andamento. Objetivo principal: a formação continuada de professores por tutores (alunos de graduação, pós-graduação e de licenciatura) devidamente treinados. Projeto 1: volta-se para a formação de professores alfabetizadores por meio do Sistema Scliar de alfabetização (Scliar-Cabral, 2013), no primeiro ciclo de três anos e no acompanhamento dos professores formados e de seus alunos por dois anos. Projeto 2: centra-se na formação à distância de professores do 1º-5º ano do Ensino Fundamental por meio do curso online ?Dislexia Causas e Consequências (DCC") (Pinheiro e Scliar-Cabral, 2015). Em ambos os projetos o conhecimento dos professores será testado antes da formação e retestado no final dela. No Projeto 1, para aferir a eficácia do Sistema Scliar de alfabetização, a aprendizagem das crianças será testada em pré e pós-testes. Os Projetos 1 e 2 fundamentam os professores com o que há de mais avançado na ciência da leitura e áreas afins, disponibilizando-lhes materiais pedagógicos de qualidade.
