An edit of poetry Steve Lacy has set on music, plus the context in which I learned about Lacy's music and later actively participated by organizing concerts and editing other books for Lacy's music, as ‘Blossoms’ for his Farewell Concerts to Europe and ‘Bone’ for CD 'Mother Goose solo@afkikker’.
About 20 years after I met Steve Lacy and studied his philosophy, I return to his musical compositions, his research, and especially his awareness, that he nurtured and never revealed his secrets. Yet one could get to know his world...

Edit of most of the poetry Steve Lacy has set to music. How poetry is integrated into his life and art. How synchronicity was working out in his life and art. How life became art and art his life. It is not this or that but different states at once.
2 chapters of an unpublished book of Johan Daisne; Recruut is about going to the army, Kakhi is about coming home from the South of France during the second world war. This is autobiographical and important for the understanding of the book ‘De Trein der Traagheid’ which we are going to present soon as a docudrama.
Selection of poetry from different periods brought together. Each period was important for that what followed. By giving the words a new order, they get a new meaning.
How I came to the idea to make a docudrama of the book of Johan Daisne 'De trein der traagheid'.
How synchronicities were working out by the fusing of 2 archives.

Afkikker house was called before ‘Het Hooghuys’, it is a medieval house from the 13th century.
It was connected with the famous abbey Sint-Pieters from Ghent, Belgium.
The house was probably the town-hall of Sint-Pieters village.

Chronological view of all the concerts, happenings and scientific manifestations in Afkikker, Gravensteen and Sint-Kwintens chapel in Ghent organised by Afkikker/Klimop. Later on I used this experience for my scientific research in the field of art. The highlights were the Blossoms concerts as the farewell of Steve Lacy to Europe and the preparatio...

I got the idea tha...
On synchronicity
I compared artwork and poetry of two scientist.
Manifestation by vzw Klimop in the Sint-Kwintens-chapel of Ghent around the DNA. Each visitor got one letter A,T,G or C. At random couples of letters were formed on the floor of the chapel.
Also the meaning of time is an important factor, because of the many coincidences.
One of the last words Steve Lacy spoke to me was BECKETT, so I started tp read his books convinced by the idea that I should find a meaning. When I told my story over and over to the people of Afkikker/Klimop, that 'Waiting for Godot' was not about waiting but about action, about the waiting of Beckett for the public to go, only Debessay Fesehaye w...
