Introduction
Teachers and teacher education are confronted with economic, social, and technological changes in society. In teacher education, curriculum developers are searching for ways to design curricula that are more open and flexible. Such a responsive curriculum has three aspects, namely reacting to or anticipating changes in student diversity, a variety of school practices and everchanging society.
