Introduction
I am currently working on a research project titled "Microplastic Loading in Pujada Bay: Ecological Impacts, Public Views, and Policy Directions," funded by USAID through the Gerry Roxas Foundation's INSPIRE Project Student Research Grant. This study aims to evaluate the extent of microplastic pollution in Pujada Bay, City of Mati, Davao Oriental, by assessing microplastics in surface water, sediments, and selected fishery organisms such as bivalves, sea cucumbers and rabbitfish.
