Introduction
Dr. Remco Kort is Professor in microbiology at the VU University Amsterdam, holder of the ARTIS-Micropia chair and lecturer in microbiome research. His research focuses on genetics and function of lactic acid bacteria, including their role in food fermentation and vaginal health.
