Doelstelling van dit onderzoek is om zicht te krijgen op de vragen en uitdagingen die het werkveld op logistiek gebied heeft. Hiervoor hebben we een enquête onder professionals in de caresector uitgezet. Op dit moment analyseren we de resultaten.
During my PhD research on sustainability in physical distribution I have often heard during interviews that the role of the shipper decided what and how the role of sustainability was in handling physical distribution. Especially during the phase of specification (Van Weele, 2010). For the other 5 phases this was less clear. Selection was done on aspects other as sustainability and in the service level agreement sustainability aspects were most often not included.
I want to discover:
1) on what level in the organization sustainability plays a role in this aspect
2) the real part sustainability plays during the whole purchasing process and
3) how the people involved in this aspect see the development on sustainability and physical distribution in the - near - future
