Introduction
I am currently working at the Institute of Geography at Heidelberg University. My research focuses on social institutions and on the way they influence human interaction and public policies. The project I am currently working in is concerned with the mechanisms of instituional change and with the regional specificity of institutions in the context of family firm succession in Baden-Württemberg and the Basque Country.
