Introduction
Currently in my third year of doctoral studies within the Political Science Faculty of the Complutense University in Madrid, with a FPI beca (pre-doctoral funding for researchers), researching the implementation of gender equality policies in Spanish universities.
I am a team member of the 'UNIGUAL' project funded by the Spanish Ministry (Ref: Fem2017-86004-R) https://www.unigual.es/en/project/ and the gender and politics research group 'Grupo de investigación Género y Política' (GEYPO)

The goal of this PhD project is to determine how, and to what extent are gender equality policies implemented within Spanish universities. It also seeks to understand what factors have favour or limit the effective implementation of gender equality policies in these higher education institutional settings.
