Introduction
My research interests cover the role of analogies, metaphors and comparisons in the development of the Life Sciences in Europe and North America in the late 19th and 20th century. More generally, I am interested in the interplay of epistemic, social and political factors of research organization, the formation of research agendas, and in modeling practices.
