Introduction
From the earliest stages of my studies, I was interested in archaeology and in prehistoric archaeology in particular. I am conducting interdisciplinary research to advance fundamental understanding of human behavior through the recovery and analysis of material culture, in addition to the reconstruction of paleo-ecological surroundings. Currently the focus of my research is placed on archaeozoology. A branch in archaeology focusing on the study of faunal remains found in archaeological context. Within this broad discipline I have focused mainly on small animals and especially on amphibians and reptiles that have considerable potential for providing significant information on anthropological-related and environmental topics.
