Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasound Transducers
(CMUT) have been widely used by the industry owing to its
numerous advantages such as easy fabrication process, higher
bandwidth, better integration etc. In this project a CMUT cell is
designed for distance measurement with frequency in the 100-
150 kHz range. The entire design and analysis were perfo...
USN’s MST - Lab is a research laboratory cleanroom; all personnel must adhere to safety guidelines and wear proper cleanroom suits before conducting any experiments. For the SSI Design Lab II (Microfabrication) course, lab experiments were carried out encompassing six processes with sputtering, photolithography, and wet/dry etching. Three different...

This study investigates the response of thin-film silicon solar cells to the use of core-shell metal-dielectric nanoparticles embedded inside the Silicon (Si) substrate to enhance their performance. Multiple arrays of these particles were placed inside the silicon substrate at three different depths to observe the changes in the performance of thin...
This study compares the response of thin film silicon, gallium arsenide, cadmium telluride cadmium sulfide and organic solar cells (OSCs) to the use of plasmonic metal nanoparticles for modifying their respective optoelectronic behavior and performance. Square arrays of silver nanoparticles were deposited at different inter particle distances on to...
This study involves the response of thin-film silicon solar cells to the use of hybrid bow-tie based plasmonic metal nanostructures that modifies its corresponding opto-electronic behavior. A single set of bow-tie, one vertex of each of the two triangular (pyramidal) silver nanoparticles facing each other with a spherical nanoparticle in the middle...

and gallium arsenide solar cells to the use of plasmonic metal
nanoparticles for modifying their respective opto-electronic
behavior. Square arrays of silver nanoparticles were placed at
different inter-particle distances on top of a thin film of Silicon
and gallium-arsenide substrate, respectiv...
The adverse effects that fossil fuels have on the environment are now clearly being observed, for example, with melting polar ice caps, rising sea levels, increased atmospheric temperatures, record breaking hurricanes across the world, etc. Additionally, the amount of fossil fuels in the earth is limited and this continuously depleting source means...
