The objective of the project is to design circularly polarized microstrip array antennas for GPS. The antennas provide good impedance matching, well-shaped radiation patterns, and right-handed circular polarization (RHCP). Three prototypes are proposed including square patch with diagonal slot, square patch with trimmed corners, and diagonally fed elliptical patch.
