“Mental Health on the MOVE” research project is a community-based physical activity intervention for people with chronic severe mental disorders; is delivered by specialized technicians in Adapted Physical Activity and takes place in the Faculty of Sport, Porto University - Portugal. This project started in 2011 and has a partnership with 4 psychiatric units; around 50 participants are regularly engaged in the sessions.
