This paper deals with the reasons for renewed cattle grazing in Švýcárna lodge surroundings in Hrubý Jeseník Mts.

The paper deals briefly with the history of Ovčárna lodge and with the grazing management in its surroundings. Further, there are mentioned some facts about the changes in vegetation after the management cessation and about the management reintroduction. In conclusion there are summarized some of the current findings.
