Description
- Nowadays, Augmented Reality (AR) is certainly one of the most important technological traits right now. Today AR allows people to see the real-life surroundings on their mobile phone screens with a virtual augmentation overlaid on it. In the other words, Augmented Reality is the technology that expands our physical world, including layers of digital statistics. Unlike virtual reality (VR), AR does no longer create the entire artificial environment to replace real with a virtual one.

As a source of green energy, solar energy provides a clean way for the production of heat and electricity. PV solar panels, in particular, have extensively applied for the production of electricity with reasonable operating costs and fewer environmental in comparison to fossil fuels. Previous studies suggest that the PV panel’s temperature decrease...

Developing graduate students' academic writing has been a major concern for many scholars over the past few years. Existing literature on the challenges of thesis writing has not focused on master's students in English language teaching (ELT). Data on the challenges have been mainly gathered from the theses and focused on the structure and...

Many popular simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) techniques have low accuracy, especially when localizing environments containing dynamically moving objects since their presence can potentially cause inaccurate data associations. To address this issue, the proposed FADM-SLAM system aims to improve the accuracy of SLAM techniques in...
Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) is a crucial technology for intelligent mobile robots to operate successfully in unknown environments. While many excellent SLAM systems have been developed in recent years, most assume that the environment is static, resulting in poor performance in dynamic environments. To address this limitation, we p...
In the evolving landscape of autonomous navigation, traditional Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) systems often encounter challenges in dynamic environments, primarily due to their reliance on assumptions of static surroundings. In response to these limitations, we introduce ARD-SLAM, a groundbreaking approach to dynamic SLAM that...
This research paper introduces an enhanced method for visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), specifically designed for dynamic environments. Our approach distinguishes itself from traditional visual SLAM methods by integrating feature-based techniques with a lightweight object identification network known as You Only Look Once (YOLO)....
Background:
Burnout is an increasingly common problem in modern work settings that significantly affects people's health and well-being. Several studies have emphasized the impact of career burnout on employees' performance and efficiency. It is unknown whether career burnout mediated by personal burnout may affect employees' perception of their w...
The traditional approach to logistics path planning is hindered by lengthy procedures. In this study, we explore the multi-objective optimization of logistics management, considering the conventional path and time efficiency indices alongside shelf safety and stability as additional objective functions. Based on particle swarm optimization (PSO), w...
The field of Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) has long grappled with the limitations imposed by static environmental assumptions, a challenge that becomes increasingly pronounced in dynamic settings. Addressing this gap, our study introduces a pioneering technique, Accurate and Dynamic Reliable SLAM (YoloV8-SLAM), which represen...
In the contemporary global discourse on environmental and developmental issues, the dual challenges of sustainable green energy and water supply stand paramount. These elements are vitally intertwined with the socioeconomic vitality of the world. Notably, regions plagued by freshwater scarcity are increasingly turning to desalination which consists...

This paper introduces YoloV8-SLAM, a novel approach that addresses the limitations of current Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) systems by incorporating dynamic object identification and enhanced multi-view geometry techniques. By integrating an adaptive segmentation method that combines geometric motion and prospective motion in...
It is significant for port ship scheduling and traffic management to be able to obtain more precise location and shape information from ship instance segmentation in SAR pictures. Instance segmentation is more challenging than object identification and semantic segmentation in high-resolution RS images. Predicting class labels and pixel-wise instan...
Land use is a process that turns a piece of land’s natural ecosystem into an artificial one. The mix of plant and man-made covers on the Earth’s surface is known as land cover. Land use is the primary external force behind change in land cover, and land cover has an impact on how land use is carried out, resulting in a synergistic interaction betwe...
