Introduction
We have shown that environmental contaminants, even at very low doses, adversely affect male reproduction and have proposed mechanism of their action involving ROS and mitochondrial-and Fas-FasL-dependent cell death pathways. Also modeled structures of GLUT-2 and GLUT-8 and connexin 26. Demonstrated that Bisphenol A interacts with them and inhibits glucose uptake in testis and could identify the presence of binding pockets of Bisphenol A in connexin 26, thereby affecting testicular functions.
