The possibility of using computer-generated Fresnel holograms to determine phase aberrations of a wavefront is studied. The results of computer simulation of the propagation of an elementary signal based on the Fresnel integral transform are presented. The principle of operation of a hologram for a wavefront sensor is discussed.
Optical science and technologies require fast and precise measurements of wavefront curvature. Amount of wavefront measurement methods increased in the last few years. The important part of the modern wavefront sensors are holographic optical elements (HOE). This article shows a possibility of using HOE for generating Zernike aberration modes.
Objectives: This paper presents several variants of stable optical schemes of sight with Holographic Optical Element to solve a problem of changing direction of diffracted by it. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Optical scheme of holographic sight is presented where the transmission hologram together with mirror is working like the reflection one. Tra...
A wavefront sensor (WFS) based on holographic optical elements, namely computer generated Fourier holograms is proposed as a perspective alternative to the Shack-Hartmann sensor. A possibility of single and multimode sensor and the dependence of their characteristics were investigated.
